1. Overview
Tacto is a lightweight poster maker for iOS. You combine photos, titles, notes, and built-in templates to create posters on your device. Tacto does not operate a social feed, public user profiles, or messaging features.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Tacto handles, how it is stored, and what choices you have.
2. Information We Collect and Store
2.1 Information stored on your device
Tacto stores the following data locally on your iPhone or iPad using UserDefaults and the app’s Documents directory:
- Account credentials generated during Quick Login (a locally created username and password)
- Login state (whether you are currently logged in)
- Poster projects (titles, subtitles, notes, template selections, themes, stickers, layout settings, and project status)
- Points balance and usage counters (posters created, daily exports, draft slots)
- Remark attachments you add to projects (private text notes, photos, and voice recordings stored as files on device)
- Project thumbnails and exported poster images saved in the app sandbox
- App preferences related to permissions prompts (for example, whether App Tracking Transparency was already requested)
We do not operate a Tacto-hosted account server. Quick Login creates credentials on your device only.
2.2 Information you choose to provide
When you use Tacto features, you may provide:
- Photos imported from your photo library or captured with the camera for posters or private remarks
- Text entered into poster fields or remark notes
- Voice recordings captured with the microphone for private project remarks
- Exported posters saved to your photo library when you choose to export
Tacto uses this content only to provide editing, preview, saving, and export functionality.
2.3 Information we do not collect
Tacto does not:
- Require your real name, email address, or phone number to use Quick Login
- Operate a social network or share your posters with other users inside the app
- Sell your personal information
- Upload your poster projects or remark attachments to Tacto-operated cloud servers as part of normal app use
3. Device Permissions
Tacto requests system permissions only in context when you use related features:
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Camera | Capture photos for poster designs or remark attachments |
| Photo Library (read) | Import images for posters or remarks |
| Photo Library (add) | Save exported posters to your library |
| Microphone | Record short private voice remarks attached to projects |
| App Tracking Transparency (ATT) | Optional system prompt that may appear after login; your choice is handled by iOS |
| Push Notifications | Optional alerts if you tap “Enable Notifications” in Settings |
You can deny or revoke permissions in iOS Settings. Some features will not work without the relevant permission.
4. In-App Purchases and Apple
Tacto offers consumable Points packs through Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit 2). Apple processes payment and may collect information according to Apple’s privacy policy. Tacto receives purchase confirmation from Apple to credit Points on your device. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Points packs (USD list prices):
| Pack | Points | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Seed | 735 | $0.99 |
| Leaf | 2,205 | $2.99 |
| Frame | 7,350 | $9.99 |
| Palette | 14,700 | $19.99 |
| Canvas | 36,750 | $49.99 |
| Studio | 73,500 | $99.99 |
Points are consumable digital credits used inside the app (for example, premium templates, HD export, extra drafts, duplication, and clean export). Points balances are stored locally on your device.
5. Analytics and Tracking
Tacto does not include third-party advertising SDKs in the app source reviewed for this policy. If you allow tracking when iOS presents the App Tracking Transparency dialog, any data use is governed by Apple’s platform rules and your device settings. Tacto does not use tracking to build a social profile or public gallery.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Poster projects and remark files remain on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall Tacto.
- Delete Account (Settings) removes locally stored Quick Login credentials and resets your Points balance on device. It does not delete posters already saved to your photo library.
- Uninstalling Tacto removes app sandbox data from your device, subject to iOS behavior and any iCloud/device backup settings you use.
7. Children’s Privacy
Tacto is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Security
Because data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for securing your device (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and backups). Tacto does not transmit your project content to Tacto servers during ordinary offline use.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of Tacto after an update means you accept the revised policy.
